Creating a Divelog account
Step-by-step guide
Go to https://sioapps.ucsd.edu/divelog
- On this screen, click 'here' to create a new account
- Enter your desired username, email, and password. If you're moving from the old divelog using the same email address as there will make migrating your dive history easier.
- On the following screen click the button to continue
- Begin filling out the form, all fields marked with * are mandatory
- To add Emergency Contacts click Add More on bottom. To add extra phone numbers for a contact click the "Phone+" button. Removing either contacts or individual phone numbers is done with the red buttons. At least one contact is required and that contact must have a phone number.
- While Certification section is not mandatory, please use it to give the dive admins an idea of your diving history.
- Upon finishing please click the "Submit" button at bottom.
- If there were errors, you will be taken to the top of the page along with a red box with an error message, like so:
While we attempted to account for every possible error situation, it might be possible that an unforeseen error will occur. If so, the error description will be blank. If this occurs, please contact the website at sioweb@ucsd.edu. - Upon finishing you will be informed that your application is pending approval from the Dive admins. Once it is approved you will receive an email letting you know that you can begin to use the site.
