Logging in to the Birch Aquarium Blog

The following login options are provided:

UC San Diego Google Account Holders
Your UCSD Google account is connected to your active directory (AD) credentials.
These are the same credentials you use to access your UCSD email and the wireless network (among other services).

Collaborators
Your login is connected to the email you provide along with a password which is provided to you via an email notification.

 

Step 1

From your browser navigate to the login URL: http://aquarium.ucsd.edu/blog/wp-login.php

Once you’re at the log in page, you will be prompted with your choice of:

  1. a button for Login with Google
    or
  2. Enter your Username and Password (These are your WordPress credentials

    Note that you will have to have already received an activation email from the website and clicked on the activation link. You’ll then have received a confirmation email with a login link and randomly generated password.



  1. Click on the "Login with Google" button. You will be redirected to the Google login page where you will enter your UCSD Google account i.e. myemail@ucsd.edu. Click the "Next" button

  2. Enter your password which is connected to your active directory (AD) credentials. This is the same password you use to access your UCSD email and the wireless network (among other services).
