Restoring Database Backups

MariaDB

For the databases siosql (1-2-3) and marinate databases are dumped by cron at midnight for the full backup and 1am for individual databases.

The backups are stored in the /var/db/backups directory and the cron is ran from the sio-emilik account.

The directories are backed up to backuppc and can be pulled from there.

MongoDB

The servers are siomongo1-2-3, and the full dump is dropped into /var/db/backups as a single people.records collection. No caches are archived but would be recreated from the main collection. The cron is ran from the sio-emilik account each day at midnight.
