When adding a dive to the dive log

Step-by-step guide

  1. Once logged in, select "Log Dive" from the menu

  2. Select one of the available Diveplans from the pull down. You cannot log a dive without first choosing a dive plan. If you do not see a diveplan you expected to see, please contact the dive master for that dive to be added as an SIO diver. There will also be some standing dives available for common repeat dive plans such as for collection and training.

  3. Please fill out the dive. In the case of a first dive of the day, you can simply leave the "Surface Interval" fields blank.

  4. If you're dive buddies were SIO divers, please add them by starting to type their last name then clicking the auto-suggestion. Add more persons by clicking the + button, remove them by using X button.

  5. For non-SIO dive buddies, just enter their names. They also can be added with + and removed with X.

  6. To select what the dive environment was click the boxes that apply

  7. If there was an incident, please describe it in the Incident Report field. An admin will automatically be contacted.

  8. In the comments add any non-emergency thoughts to be stored with this dive.

  9. After finishing, hit Log Dive.

  10. After submitting a dive, you will be able to either edit the dive, or use it as a base for a duplicate dive entry. To edit the dive that contains an error, simply fix the error and then hit Update This Dive on bottom. To submit a duplicate dive change any fields that need to be changed like Surface Interval and Bottom Time, then hit Duplicate As New
