Creating a new diveplan first to get admin approval for the project, and to be able to log dives to it later.

Step-by-step guide

 

  1.  To begin, log in to the dive site at https://sioapps.ucsd.edu/divelog
  2. Click "New Diveplan" in the menu
     
  3. Please start filling out the form. All fields marked with * are mandatory
     
  4. Note that to dive on a diveplan you must add yourself as wither a Lead Diver, or SIO Diver. Please note that you cannot add divers who have not filled out their dive application yet
     
  5. To add a diver start typing their last name, then click the autosuggestion
     
  6. Repeat for all the other SIO Divers on a plan. Add as many as necessary. Please keep in mind that divers not added to a diveplan will not be able to record dives to it.
     
  7. For non-SIO divers, please enumerate them in the non-SIO diver section below
  8. All dives must have at least one Risk and each risk must have an associated risk management
     
  9. Please fill out the medical and recompression facility information. If you're diving close to Scripps, you can click "Scripps Dive" to prepopulate the fields with local medical and recompression facilities. 
     
  10. The final field is an optional comment field let you add any text you wish an admins to see
