FileMaker ODBC Driver Connection

The MSDS databases and timekeeping needs the ODBC driver installed to make a connection to MySQL on marinara.

It's important that the ODBC driver config name matches what is in the FileMake Database.

(figured it out through trial and error).

1. Install Connector/ODBC 3.51.30

2. Add the DSN (System Data Sources) so that it can be used

The name is important as well as the MySQL database user:

Data Source Name: marinara_msds_jobs

TCP/IP Server: marinara.ucsd.edu

User: msds_all (or msds)

Password: 1Password

Database: msds
