Shared Folders Feature Request - Manage listservs through people db. This arose from a need to share faculty job applicant's files and job talk videos. (see below for Feature requests *) Several components involved - Data Stewardship - The Division must maintain and ensure accuracy of data in people db (sio role)
- Script - Luis can write a scrips that query People DB and place them on sioadmin server where almost all maillist currently live.
- Listserv - Need to account for "exceptions" which are currently managed as a text file on sioadmin.
Possible solutions moving forward - Google Groups. One that pulls data from listserv and another that includes exceptions which are merged. *Feature requests: - Need all Sections to access files on all Section shared folders
- Access to seminar (job talk) videos to anyone in any of the Sections (watch videos online)
- Sections are defined as Research and Professorial Staff
- Listservs are maintained by Section MSO's (Research Divisions)
- AcadList Server is currently the only list that is populated via People db and scripts reside on sioadmin
- Who maintains listservs? The Section list is likely maintained by Lil
In People db: (4 relevant fields) Business Office Section - Academic Office Section (Earth, O&A, BIO)
- Use sio role and display title to further filter
Voting Section Cathy wants Professors & Researchers within sections - the following should vote: Academics - (pull the following from all 3 Sections via People app - luis ) - Adjuncts

- Can you tie in voting and file viewing? Is list different than people that vote? Yes
- How large are files? Do you want faculty to read the files they're voting on?
- Limitation would be SSO. We can tell who looked at file but not who saved file.
- What are the file types? PDF's
- For immediate needs, we can implement upload field to voting app - accessible to Leslie and Lil
- How many files per vote? 1 file per vote

- Long term goal is to move Lil's data into people db
- Curricular Groups - you can have multiple CG's - Jessica Gonzalez trained to run reports (Christy might be leaving)
